New content is coming to Apex Legends during the Season 12 Warriors Collection Event, including the return of the limited-time mode Control, developer Respawn announced Thursday. The upcoming event will run from March 29 to April 12.

Control briefly exited Apex Legends on March 1. However, players will once again be able to compete in the nine-versus-nine mode for two weeks when this event begins. In this mode, teams compete for points by gaining control over three designated zones on the map. The match ends whenever a team maxes out the score counter at 1,250 points. Conversely, players can gain control of all three zones to put the game into Lockout. If a team can maintain control of every zone until the Lockout timer ends, they will win the match.

In addition, the Apex Legends Warriors Collection Event will introduce a handful of changes to the Caustic Treatment section in Kings Canyon for balancing purposes. These additions will include extra cover, ziplines, skydive launchers and a hover tank.

The upcoming Apex Legends event will also introduce Drop-Off, a new map for the three-versus-three Arena mode. As they seek to pick off members of the opposing team, players will be able to strategically position themselves at different points of interest.

The interior Observation Deck will provide players with a high vantage point, but will limit the range for vertical combat. Drop-Off’s Deployment Line will act as a mid-lane, where moving cargo boxes will provide players with dynamic cover and movement opportunities. Finally, the exterior Loading Bay will open up vertical combat options. However, players will also face the risk of falling to their deaths amid the Loading Bay’s open spaces.

Finally, the Apex Legends Warriors Collection Event will introduce 24 limited-time cosmetics. Players can find these cosmetics in Warriors Event Apex Packs or obtain them directly using Apex Coins or Crafting Metals. By collecting all of the cosmetics, players can unlock the Biwon Blade, a new Heirloom for Crypto.
