An important aspect to any character build in Elden Ring are the Talismans that you equip. Once you have some additional Talisman Slots, you can really mold your character into what you want. If you’re a mage or just like summoning Spirit Ashes, you’re going to want a Talisman that increases your max FP. For those still looking, you can stop once you find the Cerulean Amber Medallion in Elden Ring.
This is the same as the Crimson Amber Medallion that’s available as a starting Keepsake. Of course, instead of raising max HP, you raise your max FP. This is a true boon for any player utilizing their FP bar at all in battle. However, it’s found in a strange location where you have to defeat a tough boss. Below, you can see exactly where to find the Cerulean Amber Medallion.
The Cerulean Amber Medallion in Elden Ring
In order to find this Talisman, you need to head to the southernmost part of Liurnia. From here, make your way to the Lakeside Crystal Cave. This is a hidden location in the region and holds some great items along with a quest objective.
Once you’re in Lakeside Crystal Cave, keep following the path and descending the cliffs to reach the main boss of the cave: the Bloodhound Knight. Some players might recognize this boss from the Evergaol in Weeping Peninsula. This Bloodhound Knight has the same moves as the Evergaol boss but a little less health.
You will need to defeat the Bloodhound Knight to earn the Cerulean Amber Medallion. To beat it, use the Bloodhound’s Fang weapon that we earned from defeating the Evergaol version. You can summon an aggressive Spirit Ash, Kaiden Sellsword, to distract it while using Ash of War to deal damage from behind the boss.
With enough attempts, you will defeat the Bloodhound Knight and be rewarded with the Cerulean Amber Medallion in Elden Ring. This simply raises your max FP, but there are more advanced versions that increase that value even more.
