Legends of Runeterra patch 1.3 arrives on the live servers on June 10. For this update, the changes mainly focus on card clarity and clarity on the future workings of the game. In addition to this, the Expedition game mode will receive numerous changes.

Future updates of Legends of Runeterra

The patch 1.3 notes include several pieces of crucial information about upcoming updates to the game. The first piece of information has to do with the timing of future patch notes. Going forward, the Legends of Runeterra team plans to publish the patch notes the moment the update is updating to the live servers. So, instead of the patch notes releasing on Monday at 10:00 a.m. PT, they will instead release on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. PT.

In addition to this schedule change, the weekly Vault date will also change. With the introduction of patch 1.5, the Vault unlock time will change from Tuesday to Thursday. To accommodate this, the week leading up to this change will see the Vault remain active for nine days, rather than the usual seven. The expected release of patch 1.5 is currently July 7.

The end of the Season of Plunder

The Season of Plunder ranked season will end at approximately 9:00 a.m. PT on June 23. Once this ranked season ends, the Legends of Runeterra ranked servers will remain offline for around 24 hours. This downtime will help the devs prepare for the start of the next ranked season, the Season of Fortune.

Legends of Runeterra patch 1.3 ranked reset

Alongside the Season of Fortune, all players will see a partial reset of their rank. You can see the exact numbers of how many divisions each player will lose in the image above. During this downtime, the Season of Plunder will also reward all eligible players with their end of season reward icons.

Changes to Expedition

The final change coming in patch 1.3 is to the Expedition game mode. Most of the current archetypes of the Expedition game mode will see some changes to their available cards. For the full list of these changes, make sure to read the full patch notes on the Runeterra website.
