MiBR announced they have acquired Immortals Gaming Club’s Rainbow Six roster for the remainder of the Rainbow Six Pro League. Immortals GC is the parent organization of MiBR, so the change isn’t too different. However, this is the first game other than Counter-Strike which MiBR has picked up a roster for.

MiBR sign Rainbow Six roster

The team announcement was revealed at an event hosted by MiBR named Encontro das Lendas. Star players from the esports organization’s CSGO team, Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo and Epitácio “TACO” de Melo, introduced the lineup to fans at the event.

During an interview with ESPN Brazil, former Immortals player Bullet1 said, “It is an honor to be able to wear this shirt that made so many Brazilians happy.” He goes on to state that he and his teammates want to demonstrate their team’s ability under the new organization. He wishes to “conquer the world wearing [the MiBR] shirt, and make all Brazilians who cheer for [MiBR] happy”.

The team change has no major difference to the players themselves other than the addition of Guilherme “Guile” Scalfi in a coaching role. Guile comes from a previous analyst role at Ubisoft into his new role as coach for the R6 roster. Hopefully, this change will help the Brazilian team improve their standings. The roster currently consists of Jaime “Cyb3r” Ramos, Daniel “Novys” Novy, José “Bullet1” Victor, Lucca “MKing” Coser, and Matheus “pX” Freire.

Immortals R6 results

The former Rainbow Six roster has a history of disappointing results in the Pro League. The team currently sits at 7th place in Latin America’s Pro League Season 10, with 0 wins. After playing poorly in 2019’s Brasileirão, the team was sent to a Relegation bracket along with INTZ Esports Club and paiN Gaming.

The newly transferred MiBR Rainbow Six Siege roster will debut at 2019’s Six Major Raleigh event on August 12. They play their first match against Japanese esports organization Nora-Rengo. The team will compete in Group A, which also includes current North American powerhouse Team SoloMid.
