Since the Season 4 update went live in Call of Duty: Warzone, there’s been one or two weapons running the show. One is the NZ-41, which we recently crowned as the best assault rifle in Season 4. The other is the UGM-8, which could be even stronger than the NZ-41.

What makes the UGM-8 so strong is its almost unbelievable recoil control; players barely have to touch their aim when firing this light machine gun. To make matters more interesting, the UGM-8 actually has multiple loadouts that are leagues ahead of most other weapons in Season 4. One such loadout for the UGM-8 makes use of the burst barrel, which some content creators make the UGM-8 make the best overall weapon in Warzone.

This specific burst loadout was put together by creator TrueGameData, a YouTuber famous for crafting the best weapon loadouts. TrueGameData discovered that by equipping the burst barrel on the UGM-8, players can easily hit more shots at longer ranges. While players will need to focus on hitting headshots to get the most out of this loadout, that should be fairly simple given how accurate the UGM-8 is with this specific loadout.

Best burst loadout for the UGM-8 in Warzone

It’s worth noting that TrueGameData believes that the UGM-8 is the best weapon in Warzone, with or without the burst barrel. So, players can use the LMG without the burst barrel if they wish and still produce similar results. However, the burst barrel can make players even more accurate.

  • Muzzle: MX Silencer
  • Barrel: Romuald 560mm DA
  • Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x
  • Stock: Romuald Tac YR
  • Underbarrel: M1930 Strife Angled
  • Magazine: 6.5mm Sakura 125 Round
  • Ammunition: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Hatched Grip
  • Perk: Brace
  • Perk 2: On-Hand

The Romuald 560mm DA barrel turns the UGM-8 into a burst weapon. This is paired with the Romuald Tac YR stock, Brace perk, and M1930 Strife Angled underbarrel to give the UGM-8 a tremendous amount of recoil control. Players will have no trouble whatsoever hitting their shots with this loadout. However, players need to remember to aim for the head to maximize this loadout’s overall time-to-kill.
