When Call of Duty: Warzone first began its Vanguard life cycle, the STG44 was at the top of meta by every metric. It was the top-performing assault rifle by a solid margin, but it was also the most popular. Some of this can be attributed to the fact that the STG44 was released earlier than most other weapons in Warzone, giving fans a chance to level it up and discover how strong it was. Since then, the STG44 has been surpassed by a plethora of other rifles and weapons, leaving it in the forgotten bin of Warzone. However, if players want to return to the STG44, they’ll find its top loadout can still shred enemies in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded.

As of right now, the KG M40 is the king of the assault rifle class. We pegged it as our best AR in Season 4 Reloaded, and for good reasons. It has almost no recoil, high damage, and a decent fire rate. If we compare the STG44 to the KG M40, we can apply many of the same traits. The major difference is in the two gun’s recoil control, as the STG44 has a much more noticeable kick. With the right set of attachments, though, players can mitigate that and come close to replicating the KG M40.

Best STG44 loadout in Warzone

  • Muzzle: MX Silencer
  • Barrel: VDD 760mm 05B
  • Optic: G16 2.5x scope
  • Stock: VDD 34S Weighted
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: 7.62 Gorenko 60 Round Mags
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Polymer Grip
  • Proficiency: Vital
  • Kit: Fully Loaded

This loadout is aimed at increasing the STG44’s accuracy and damage range. The VDD 760mm 05B barrel and MX Silencer increase both of these stats, with the Vital perk rounding out the damage boosts. The VDD 34S Weighted stock, M1941 Hand Stop, and Polymer Grip all improve recoil control to bring the STG44’s accuracy more in line with other top ARs in Warzone.

While this STG44 loadout can’t fully match other Warzone ARs, it does come close and gives players a solid alternative to the current meta weapons.
